When you think of animals with tenderness, what animals come to your mind? Do you see a cow summoning its keeper at night to lay its head in his lap letting out its last breath? A calf jumping for joy running after a ball in the meadow. Probably not, because the animals we used to call farm animals are “invisible.” Those who spend a lot of time with animals know that they love, miss, grieve, envy, enjoy life and fear death.
