It was a spectacularly beautiful Golden Hour morning outside Val d’Orcia in Tuscany! The low layer of fog added to the photograph’s intrigue, but the sky! Oh my, I’ve never seen a sky so brilliantly red! The sky did not need much work in post-production; it was indeed that glorious. To me, this photograph has everything you want in a Tuscan landscape photograph: centuries-old estate on a hill, twin lines of cypress trees, a lonely road, mountains in the distance, a layer of fog, and oh, my, that sky! Post-processing in Lightroom, Photoshop, On1, and Luminar.
