"Mahikan" means "Wolf" in Native American Indians Cree. Here is an incredible photography of trust and proximity, with a pack of nine wolves that surrounded us at a few meters only, during a sled expedition in the Far North Canada in winter. Far away from any settlements and human presence, wolves did not develop any fear of humans, and came to us just by curiosity, allowing this incredible proximity that I would never had imagined or dreamed with those wild animals. Photographed without hide and without any bait, in the wild territories of Canada in winter.
