I walk past this wall, and it looks kind of crazy. There's literally nothing going on this entire wall, it's just a big flat white wall, but out of these tiny holes there are these plants blooming. It seems like this crazy contrast where out of nothingness, we have life. I decided I wanted to take a shot of this. I took a straight-on view which highlights the flatness of the wall. I wanted the hole to sort of look like it popped out of nothing so I place it in a seemingly random place on the photo rather than centered. I wanted to make sure I kept these trails -- roots I guess? -- flowing all the way to the bottom, almost like the plant is bleeding a little bit.
