This photo is part of my ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) street photography series. In Japan, many people are uncomfortable being photographed, and privacy concerns on social media are growing. ICM lets me capture public scenes without identifying individuals. This image was shot at 1/2 sec shutter speed to create a soft, abstract look. Taken at Niigata Station, it reflects the loneliness I feel in urban development within depopulating areas, while also expressing the quiet hope that remains in such places.
