I received special access to the flight line at NAS JRB Fort Worth when the six Blue Angels F/A-18s were parked in a row the evening prior to their first performance in Fort Worth. It was exciting to have unfettered access to these aircraft for an hour during Golden Hour to shoot these magnificent aircraft at all angles. As the sun was descending in the sky, I was able to capture this sunburst off the wing of aircraft #4, piloted by LCDR Amanda Lee, the Blue Angels’ first female pilot.
