At night, Kaminarimon Gate in Asakusa loses its daytime brightness and becomes solemn and tense. Although it is widely known as a lively tourist landmark, the gate also marks the entrance to a sacred temple space. I photographed this moment as a quiet threshold, capturing the weight, stillness, and nervous feeling of entering a place of worship.
