Through the rain-streaked windscreen, this self-portrait landscape series captures moments of solitude and contemplation, revealing the fragile beauty of our planet amidst the storm. Each droplet becomes a poignant reminder of our interconnectedness with nature, urging us to cherish and protect our delicate world. Recently New Zealand has been hit hard by Cyclone Gabrielle and the aftermath has devastated entire communities. I experienced first-hand the extent of the devastation which was heart breaking, from personal stories to the actual physical impact. Currently one in seven people in New Zealand live in areas at high risk of flooding.
