At the Bailin Bridge Pier on Shezi Island in Taipei, dragon boat national teams have been trained for many years. The most well‑known among them are the senior paddlers over fifty. They love dragon boat racing so much that they wake up at four in the morning and start paddling at five. Through this routine, they’ve become healthier and stronger. They are always smiling, happily gliding across the water. For them, dragon boating is like life itself—within the limited time we all have, they use this sport to create their most unforgettable memories and even bring honor to the country.
