Eight frames circle one stairwell in the MKM Museum Küppersmühle in Duisburg, Germany. A single flight of terracotta concrete winds around an oval opening; stair and balustrade were poured as one body, so nothing breaks the curve. Light falls from above, thins as it drops, and settles on the pigment. No people appear. Each frame is taken from a different landing, so the same turn returns changed: texture, warm tone, and a shadow that moves with the light.
