The Night Procession of the Earth God in Shezi Island This is a folk festival in Shezidao island Taiwan, which lived for more than a hundred years. Young people with traditional clothing carrying sedan chairs with four Earth Gods icons pilgrimage the Shezidao area. During the tour, lots of firecrackers prepared by worshippers will be set off, the greater number of firecrackers represents the better fortune in the upcoming year. In recent years, this event also signifies the local people's hope to sustain their traditional culture.
