HIGASHINE SAKURANBO ~secret of the cherries~

A series of key visuals created for "Secret of the Cherries," a promotional film celebrating Higashine's GI-registered sakuranbo (cherry) heritage in Yamagata, Japan. Photographed in the orchards across the turn of a single growing season, from bare winter branches to the fullness of harvest, the images were made to stand alone as posters and campaign thumbnails, carrying the film's atmosphere without its narrative. Each frame follows the same instinct: quiet observation over spectacle, letting light, fruit, and the people who tend the trees speak for the place itself. Together they form a visual introduction to a region defined by patience and seasonal rhythm, an invitation into the film and into the orchard that inspired it.
