Monolith: Sigiriya from Above is an aerial photography series that captures the sheer scale of Sri Lanka's most iconic landmark just as the sun sets. Rising approximately 200 meters above the surrounding central plains, the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya, also known as "Lion Rock," is bathed in warm, golden hour light in every shot.
