Cherry Blossoms After Rains

Sunlight passes through delicate cherry blossoms while droplets remain suspended across the petals, creating a fleeting interplay of light, translucency and texture. Rather than photographing the blossoms as a broad seasonal landscape, I moved close to isolate the details that made the moment extraordinary: reflected light, transparent petals and lingering water. The image is a study of impermanence—capturing a brief state that exists only until the sunlight shifts or the droplets disappear. Made entirely through the mobile phone’s camera and natural conditions, the photograph preserves the immediacy of the encounter and turns a familiar symbol of spring into an intimate study of light and fragility.
