Swiss Interludes

Swiss Interludes is a series of street photographs taken across Switzerland, centered on strangers caught in ordinary, passing moments. A child watches the rain, an elderly couple quietly holds hands, and two figures walk one step apart while others rest, watch, or simply move through the street. None of these moments reveal enough to tell a complete story. They exist somewhere in the middle, with a past and future outside the frame. Like interludes, they are brief pauses within lives that continue beyond the photograph. The series explores the distance between observing a stranger and knowing them and how even the smallest gesture can invite us to imagine a life we will never fully understand.
