*Turquoise Paradise* captures Shah-i-Zinda in Samarkand, Uzbekistan—an avenue of mausoleums shaped by turquoise domes, intricate mosaics, carved terracotta and geometric ornament. Photographed in the stillness of morning, the series explores how light, colour and repetition transform architecture into a passage between the earthly and the sacred. Through shifting shadows and luminous surfaces, Shah-i-Zinda emerges as a place where geometry, memory and faith converge—and where the boundaries between life and death appear to dissolve.
