HK Colour Coded

HK Colour Coded traces Hong Kong through a spectrum of architectural colour, from the pink façade of North Point Fire Station to the violet housing blocks of Sha Tau Kok. Designed to be viewed as a continuous loop, the series begins and ends with a monumental geometric façade divided precisely between light and shadow—a transient boundary that evokes the limits of the visible spectrum. Moving through pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet, the photographs transform the city into a chromatic sequence of form, light and repetition. Beyond celebrating Hong Kong’s visual vibrancy, the series invites viewers to rediscover the city through colour, turning familiar architecture into an urban spectrum waiting to be found.
