Aurora Over Iceland's Hidden Shores

During my last journey to Iceland in 2023, I ventured to the western coast, steering clear of the well-trodden paths favored by tourists. My aim was to explore the lesser-known and seldom-visited locales, places that still harbored compelling narratives and breathtaking vistas. Initially, the weather did not cooperate, with the sun, sunset, and northern lights obscured by persistent rain. However, after enduring seven days of dismal weather, fortune shifted—the skies cleared, revealing the magnificent spectacle of the Aurora Borealis. These photos, taken in these remote areas, are vivid reminders of the stunning scenes that wait in less traveled corners of the world.
