This series is part of a larger project of limited edition fine art photographs taken during live flamenco performances in France and Spain that began in 2020 at the height of the pandemic and is still ongoing. The aim is to represent the universal language of emotions through two-step flamenco dance between light and emotion. Flamenco, inscribed on the World Heritage List, was born in a folk environment and expresses itself through improvisation, the spontaneous expression of emotions with intensity, without fear of showing vulnerability. An artistic approach that, through dance and photography, aims to make people recognize their own emotions, accept their vulnerability, give it space and experience it without barriers. Vulnerability as a strength rather than a weakness, a necessary tool for staying connected to yourself and living a fulfilled life. In a world that encourages us to wear masks to conform, the goal is to reconnect with ourselves, face our emotions, embrace our vulnerability and make it our strength.
