Photographer's Profile
France
I got my first camera at the age of 15. Right from the start my eye was drawn to graphic forms, saturated colours and high contrasts, whatever the subject, from a natural landscape to a work of architecture. The diversity of aesthetic approach and figurative representation of the subject makes surrealist painting a source of inspiration for photography. I've recently discovered photomanipulation, which offers infinite scope for creativity. My new and ongoing project focuses on an original representation of the human body, taking its inspiration from surrealist painting, mainly the work of René Magritte. Several images of this project have already won awards in various competitions.
