My name is Jenq-Horng (John) Liang, male, and was born on October 06, 1958 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I had received Ph.D. degree in the Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics at University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989, and now work as a distinguished professor in the Institute of Nuclear Engineering and Science as well as the Department of Engineering and System Science at National Tsing Hua University in Hsinchu, Taiwan. My professional expertise is Nuclear Engineering. My personal interests other than career include travel, literature, painting, and photography. I have traveled more than 60 countries till now. My literary hobby is focused on writing proses and poems, and had published two books for them and now is prepared for the third one. I am much enjoying water-color painting and traditional Chinese painting. Regarding photography, I take color as well as B/W photographs, and have rewarded several domestic and international awards.
