Photographed from the top of the Arc de Triomphe at dusk, this image captures Paris at the moment when daylight gives way to night. The streets begin to glow, the Eiffel Tower rises in the distance, and the last color of sunset breaks through the heavy clouds. What drew me to the scene was the contrast between the warm city lights and the cool, dramatic sky. From this elevated perspective, the avenues radiate outward through the city, creating a sense of both scale and structure. For me, the photograph is about transition. It captures that brief moment when Paris changes character, when the streets, architecture, and sky all seem to come alive together.
