The series captures the changing light patterns on the tall forest of wooden columns of The Grand Ring of Expo Osaka 2025 designed by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto and fleeting strangers from all walks of life under the structure. It demonstrates the beauty of impermanence and life from Japanese culture through the dynamic interplay of light and shadow through time, geometric composition that gave it a timeless quality, and interactions between human users and a unique architectural space of enormous scale.
