A lone figure passes through a narrow opening within a continuous architectural loop in Lisbon. The slit interrupts the enclosure without bringing it to an end—creating a brief interval between one passage and the next. Interval reflects on the pauses within sustained effort: moments of release that are not endings, but necessary spaces to continue. Through curvature, negative space and human scale, architecture becomes a metaphor for persistence—where interruption forms part of the rhythm of moving forward.
