Italian professional photographer based in Nîmes (France), specialized in fine art photography. My limited-edition, signed and numbered fine art photographs are regularly exhibited in France and abroad: these exhibitions have made my name, particularly for my work in Flamenco. In 2022 I self-published my first fine art photography book with a selection of my limited edition flamenco photographs, LUZ FLAMENCA. Since 2023 my flamenco art photographs have been awarded in international photo competitions in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Beverly Hills. My photographic approach takes the literal meaning of the word "photography" - writing with light - and develops into "painting with light." I like to translate movement and bring to life a photograph that conveys more than a static pose of a dancer on stage and gives the viewer the feeling of having witnessed the performance: hearing the music, seeing the steps, feeling the emotion. I love movement as an expression of change, the unpredictability of life, evolution, the need to adapt, the need for balance. I love light as a source of energy, hope, strength, passion, faith and inspiration, but I also love shadow as a source of contrast, intensity, comparison and depth. I love sincere emotions, spontaneous moments, intense instants. In my photographs you will find interwoven stories in which light, movement, shadow and emotion dance together to create a unique and eternal moment. I take only live photos, without poses, because every moment deserves to be unique, unrepeatable, and remembered as a spontaneous, lived emotion. Dance photography has deep roots in me: I practiced ballet and contemporary dance for almost 20 years, until several injuries forced me to stop. Dance allowed me to express my emotions and creativity through movement, and today I enjoy dancing through my eyes, capturing these emotions expressed on stage by great artists.
