Hello! I’m JT, a Norwegian-American photographer with a passion for capturing life's beauty. My photography journey began in 1998 in a makeshift darkroom in my bathroom, where I first developed film learned from a local class. This marked the beginning of my lifelong pursuit of photographing stunning landscapes, vibrant cityscapes, and the untamed beauty of wildlife around the world. My adventures in photography have been shared with my wife and muse, Ambreen. Together, we’ve explored everything from serene natural settings to dynamic urban scenes, capturing the spirit of each place. Photography to me is more than just taking pictures; it’s a personal journey of expression and storytelling. Throughout my career, I’ve earned several prestigious awards, including "Discovery of the Year" from reFocus, a bronze from the Fine Art Photography Awards, multiple Platinum and Gold awards from the Muse Photography Awards, Category Winner of the Year from the London Photography Awards, and double Category Winner of the Year from the Global Photography Awards. My work has been exhibited in galleries worldwide—from Barcelona to Montreal and Chicago to Budapest—and featured in notable publications like Dodho and Digital Photographer Magazine. Through my lens, I aim to share the myriad stories and scenes of our world, inviting others to see the beauty I find in every frame.
